Output-based education strengthening in BSMR Marine University

In an effort to strengthen the capabilities of the staff of BSMR Marine University and BIMRAD, CINOP conducted a training from 10 till 13 March. The main objective was to strengthen their expertise in output-based education through the CBET methodology and Entrepreneurial learning.

The training specifically focused on learner-centred didactics (an approach that enables students to take ownership of their learning process). It also focused on output-based education, which means incorporating industry requirements into the curriculum and didactical approach of the university.

Participants particularly enjoyed the highly competent trainer, the interactive classes and the systematic development of the course progression in which constructive alignment and formulation of learning outcomes where highly appreciated. They were very grateful that BSMRMU, as their employer, was able to organize this training.
