MSP Lebanon project update

In the first week of October CINOP and Bloom organized the first in-person week of the training for Lebanese SMEs in digitizing their marketings and business operations. After having kick-started online the week before, it was great to now work together in-person. With a group of motivated entrepreneurs we dove into their businesses for two days, in the hills overlooking Beirut.

On the first day, our workshop focused on the basics of online sales and marketing channels, on strengthening the trust and connection in the group, and on doing wonderful activities best done in-person as the rest of the programme is conducted online. In different break-outs and in duos, participants worked on their value propositions, OKRs and online marketing strategies. On the second day we improved the marketing propositions and practiced pitching and public speaking through iterative cycles of elevator pitches and sharing reflections and feedback in the midst of ancient roman ruins close to Beirut.

In the following three months, the programme will consist of online or hybrid tailor-made trainings, and one-on-one coaching on specific topics related to online revenue generation, digital marketing, and digital business models.

We would like to thank David Munir Nabti and his colleagues at Bloom, Bauke Buikstra for sharing his domain expertise on behalf of CINOP, and the participants for their great energy and enthusiasm to learn and pursue their ambitions.

This project is a Tailor-Made-Training project, part of the MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) managed by Nuffic and funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
