Kick-off: EntreComp 4 Youth project
The consortium of Sharek Youth Forum, Jordan River Foundation, Bantani, and CINOP kicked off on 29th and 30th May 2023 with an introductory meeting aimed at building a strong foundation for collaboration.
Representatives from each organisation introduced themselves, outlining their roles and expectations. Ms. Tina Prihavec from the European External Action Service (EEAS) in Amman joined the meeting to hear more about the EntreComp 4 Youth project and to discuss how the EEAS could support the project.
The project’s objectives were clearly defined, emphasising mutual benefits, and setting the stage for productive teamwork.
Bantani provided the group with a hands-on and in-depth workshop on EntreComp, helping all consortium participants to start off the project with the same understanding of EntreComp and the framework’s role in the project. CINOP provided a Virtual Reality workshop, another major component in the project, which similarly allowed everyone to understand its utilisation in the project and get some hands-on experience.
Discussions with Ms. Tina Prihavec from the EEAS explored potential support avenues, highlighting access to crucial resources like the Virtual Reality Lab and EU premises in Amman.
The consortium outlined a strategic plan, selecting for phased training sessions of three cycles over three years to ensure sustainable youth development.
The kick-off meeting marked a promising start, laying the groundwork for impactful collaboration and fostering long-term partnerships among the organisations involved.
