Enhancing Curriculum for Entrepreneurship and Digital Skills

From July 8 till 12, Learning Digital, Iceaddis, Tegbare-id and CINOP organized a week in which  the following activities were targeted: “Round table discussion with representatives from the SME’s and digital companies” to hear from them what kind of competences are needed for graduates that follow an entrepreneurship course or digital skills course based upon the Entrecomp and Digicomp frameworks. It was interesting to hear that competences as self leadership (knowing yourself)  or basic calculation/ communication and book keeping are very important.

Based upon the input from the sector, Students and staff from Tegbare-id identified the most important competences needed and drafted a list with topics that must be incorporated into the newly developed curricula.  But before we started first we ensured through ”Capacity building of 15 staff in curriculum development and didactics all were on the same page concerning constructive alignment in which Learning Outcomes/ Learning Activities and Assessment were logically and practically following each other. When all were on the same page we started with the development of the  modules and teaching materials  for both entrepreneurship and  digital skill”.

It was great to see the high level of participation of all involved! And it can be set that all partners were able to learn from eachother!
