CG – International

Fostering International Career Guidance in VET

Continent: Western Balkan
Duration: 24 months (January 2025 – December 2026)

Through the CG-International project, co-funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme, a consortium of eight partners from the European Union (EU) and the Western Balkans (WB) is developing tailored training programmes for VET teachers, providers, and school counsellors. The aim is to create international career guidance strategies within VET schools across the Western Balkan countries.

This will be achieved through development and implementation of a unique Capacity Building program which will combine development of skills for effective career guidance and internationalization of VET for VET teachers, counselors, and other staff involved in providing professional guidance and orientation to students.

The CG-International project aims to:

  1. Strengthen teacher and expert capacity to deliver effective career guidance.
  2. Offer comprehensive career counseling services for VET students.
  3. Provide targeted capacity-building training for career guidance experts.
  4. Align vocational education with development strategies to enhance expert capacity.
  5. Promote public-private partnerships to improve VET collaboration and alignment.
