3E – Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in Ethiopia

Empowering digital talent. Strengthening education. Boosting inclusive entrepreneurship !
3E supports Ethiopia’s digital transformation by turning today’s talented youth into tomorrow’s digital entrepreneurs. At the heart of the project is Tegbareid TVET College, where we are helping build an innovation ecosystem focused on entrepreneurship, digital skills, incubation, and e-commerce.

What are we building ?

  • Future Skills Incubator @Tegbare-id: A dynamic space where students and alumni develop digital skills, build start-ups, and explore e-commerce.
  • Market-Ready Curricula: We update TVET programs to include EntreComp-based entrepreneurship, digital innovation, and real-world e-commerce applications.
  • Stronger Links with the Private Sector: We bridge the gap between college and career through internships, mentoring, and start-up support.

Our approach is inclusive by design

3E actively promotes gender equality. Our ambition? At least 60% of all supported start-ups will be women-led—helping create a more inclusive digital economy in Ethiopia.
