EntreComp 4 Youth Project Successfully Concluded

27 November, CINOP, Bantani, Jordan River Foundation and Sharek Youth Forum closed the Entrecomp 4 Youth project in Jordan. The final event, excellently hosted by the Jordan River Foundation, brought together partners and participants to reflect on and celebrate the achievements the project.

The short film below provides a brief impression of the project and its outcomes.

Across Palestine and Jordan, many young people face challenges in accessing high-quality skills training and finding decent work in a safe and supportive environment. The project aimed to strengthen the capacity of local organizations to offer entrepreneurial skills training and to create better opportunities for young people to connect to the labour market. By supporting Sharek Youth Forum in Palestine and the Jordan River Foundation in Jordan, EntreComp 4 Youth contributed to building a more resilient, motivated, and competent labour force while also encouraging self-employment and job creation.

Using the EntreComp framework, the project helped young people develop essential entrepreneurial competences such as initiative, collaboration, and adaptability. Throughout the project, youth workers were trained as EntreComp Master Trainers, who then trained additional youth workers, ultimately reaching more than a hundred young participants. These young people were supported in turning ideas into action and creating meaningful impact in their communities.

Innovation played a key role as well. The EntreComp modules were integrated into an immersive 360° VR environment, enabling participants to learn through realistic scenarios and dilemmas in an interactive and engaging way.

The project was initially planned to conclude with a joint event for both countries, but due to the situation in the West Bank, this was not possible. Sharek Youth Forum will now hold its closing event during the week of 8th December.
