Qualifications, Qualifications Systems & Frameworks

We believe that relevant education and training needs to be embedded into a strong, quality assured and transparent education and training system. This system should be governed and managed by stakeholders from public authorities, education & training institutions and labour market representatives.

CINOP supports national authorities and their stakeholders in policy development related to skills agendas, addressing labour market and societal needs and skills mismatches. We also support in modernizing qualification frameworks and systems – by focusing on improved governance – and we develop transparent procedures and tools for monitoring, evaluation and updating of qualification systems and, where relevant, their frameworks.

In addition, CINOP develops and reviews vocational qualifications, which represent an important part of national qualification systems. These are often linked to occupational profiles and provide an agreed standard for the development of curricula, examination and teacher training.
